This Saturday, April 14 2018, will mark the 4th anniversary of the abduction of 276 girls from Government Secondary School Chibok, barring a miracle or delayed surprise.
To commemorate, certainly not to celebrate it, the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement will hold a second lecture in honour of the 112 still captive girls on Saturday. Tunde Bakare, the pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, a Lagos-based church, will be the guest speaker while Hajiya Naja’atu Bala Muhammad the Chairperson, according to a schedule published by the group.
The lecture will be held at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua centre in Abuja at 10:00am and will be aired live on Channels TV.
Prayers and marches are also scheduled for Friday and Sunday in Lagos, Abuja and New York (USA), even as the events will also campaign for the release of the remaining Dapchi Girls and other Nigerians still under terrorist captivity.
